They appeared once at the Alhambra- convincing our cash-strapped selves that they would draw in at least 500 people (after all they had played to over 5000 at CornerStone or some such CrispieWoodstock...) and they would handle all the advertising!
Showing that they were just like all other local bands, 13 people showed. 9 were on the guest list. Half of them had a FrankieGoesToHollywood clone t-shirt that said Love God / Hate Sin. At the time I wore my hair in a topknot with bits of metal and wooden debris woven/tangled theirin- they were loathe to discuss Jesus with me for some reason.
The big blonde guitarist guy was roumored to be once married to one of DougShawhan's highschool sweeties, TracyAshby. (Had giant curly hair! Very cute, BTW --D)
